That car is a Ford press car with a big block V-8 with boss 429 cylinder he ads. I dont think anyone know the true cubic inches, but I believe its 500 +. It was built by SVT's John Colletti to take on a GM ZL-1 572 Camaro in Motor Trend magazine in 96 or around that time. The two cars duked it out, and I believe the Ford one with a 10 something pass. The GM had the upper hand in the begining of the day after the Ford broke a lifter, and If any one knows getting a lifter for a Boss 429 head isn;t exactly easy. After t he lifter was delivered later that day the car was repaired.They finally g ot a pass off near dark and beat the Chevy by a couple tenths.
