business it aint hard. jegs makes the kit to put sbc in the trucks. they are about 700. watch which one you get though. i'mputting a 383 into my truck soon. hopefull i can get it done in time for the show next yearin ocean city.

i myself have a 1st gen s10 with a 4.3, and i can tell you that a v8 swap i s fairly easy if you have all the parts you need :)

thats probably the dyno making the noise. Does it have loose rings in it, i noticed alot of smoke when you let off.
