Another nice video, Somedude. Chevelle is just jealous that he'd get whupped by a Taurus. Northwest, I'm not sure about when boosted, but the motors have been safely test run at 8500 rpms. It's the accessories that don't like spinning above 7000.

I had an SHO, it's not a Ford engine...It would have blew up within the first 10sec of this vid...Anyway, the stock 3.0-3.2 SHO engines are made by Yamaha...Fun car..

actually chevelle6305 the SHO engine is extremely durable. We ran the snot out of my 232K engine. This engine in stock form will reliably make 400whp. I was running my old engine beyond that and it cracked a piston running a bit over 15psi.

how come he never gets on it? the ol' V6 probably couldnt handle even the lowest boost. from what i can tell, your car is a grade A p.o.s. you should have took the $ you spent on that lame ass turbo and bought a better car loser

I say 7000rpm...It obviously runs out of air sooner than 7500, unless you just want to beat the shit out of your engine...?ouch mann! most likely on a stock engine too considering the low boost?

car is still on 5-6psi and it really slow. I wanted to see how high in the rpm band it would make power. if feals like about 7500-7600 will make for a good shift point. Above 8K it seems to run out of air. Time to port the heads.
