ok, put a 450-500hp engine in that weights about 600lbs, or leave the factory style powerplant in that makes in this case about 350hp and cut off about 350lbs. lemme think....

If im not mistaken, most of the cameras nowadays are equiped with nightshot.
WHY DOESN'T ANYBODY USE IT????????

The Bug was a friends of mine and it was a high 10 sec car at the track.It is now owned by another friend and I expect some low 10 sec times once the car is finished.

Got any pics of the VW with the WRX engine? One of the employees at AEM ha s a VW with a WRX engine in it. I wuold love to see some pics.

they are flat 4 cylinder, as in, horizontally opposed. turbocharging an old VWis no EASY feat. not just a matter of bolt ons...if you want it to l ast that is. i was going to build a 1916cc turbo injected vw engine for my 71 volkswagen beetle which would have been good for 11's on street tyr es. instead i have chosen to put a 1994 wrx engine with "slight&qu ot; modifications into it. should be quick enough for me :)

if you put a surpa 3 litre in a bug and made it mid engine rear wheel drive all while makin it look stock now that is the ultimate sleeper

dude, they aren't flatheads, they're overhead valve, just pushrod engines.
