foxtrot, your right it does take skills to go into an apex hella fast and not lose traction. But drifting is about being in control out of control, holding the slide for as long as possible at the most extreme angle, its a rush! You cant tell me its not satisfying sliding your way round a corner!

I thought the point of driving...driving fast...was to not loose traction. I don't see the point in drifting. You loose time around a corner when you loose traction.

Ummmm.....to me that was drifting. Sliding your car and hitting something is inevitable. it wasnt even that serious either. professionals still crash too. part of the sport.

Yes I agree, that's exactly how you drift. Just dropped the back wheel and hit the sand. If you disagree, then you're an idiot.
WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT NASCAR? F**k nascar!

i admit that driving nascar takes a h**l of a lot of skill and guts, but if u honestly believe that going around an oval 500 times is more interesting than watching people drift, than i can infer 2 things, 1 u r an old piece of s**t that grew up watching those boring a*s nascar on ur tv back when that(along with football) were the only things 2 watch, and 2 u havent seen some1 drifting in person, because the internet in anything compared 2 the real thing.
But then again, im just infering
