my roomate made a gokart many years back when in middle school.
it had an angle iron frame, steel plumbing for a roll cage and a stolen school chair for a seat. It had full suspension and rack&pinion steering (modified beetle rack). Now he is rebuilding it with lighter materials and new designs

My point is, you couldve taken it apart and used the stuff to make a new one or somthing else, you shouldn't have destroyed it.

ah i miss working on the small projects.. i had a two seater go kart with a single diff rear... with a 125 cc motor on it.. couldnt keep it straight.
