well I might as well tell whats goin on with it. a few month's ago the engine started to knock a little bit I thought it was a pistion ring and if I kept it under 2000 rpms it would be ok for a little while until I got enough money for a new engine. well it turns out I was wrong lol. it siezed up a little while ago. but the good news is I found out it is a 72 350 by the block and head casting #'s. I just thought it was one of them factory freaks or something but nope it is indeed a 350 hopeing a 4 bolt not sure yet havent pulled the engine yet. so Im gonna take it to a buddy of my uncles shop hopefully this weekend. I hopeing to get somewhere around 350 hp out of it. Also was thinking of building it into a 383 stroker or getting some aluminum heads for it. but money is an issue so I may be able to get aluminum heads for it but I doubt I can make it into a 383

just curious does anybody know if you interchange interior panels from a 78 monte through a 88 monte id be very gratefull. im lookin for the panels that separate the door from the back side window.

To be completley honest I have no idea the previous owner did not want to get rid of the car at all. and he especially didnt want to sell it for only 1000 bucks so I didnt ask any kind of question so he wouldnt change his mind. I do belive it does though my uncle looked at it and said it looked like a 350. but I cant tell the diffrence between a 305 and a 350.
