My '89 and '95 5-speed SHO V-6's both would walk my 13.9 second stock Grand National on the highway. Only 1/4 mile time w/ SHO's was 15.0-15.2 @ 93 MPH on '89 having MAJOR traction problems. I wish they sounded as good as these V-8's. LMAO!

207 c.i.d./3.4L DOHC V8. The engine is made in Canada, the heads are made in Japan. Ford shipped the engines to Japan for installation and then they were sent to Georgia for installation in the cars. Too bad they didn't use Helmholtz Resonator manifolds like the Gen 1's and Gen 2's. That engine made 300 horsepower but had cooling issues. That's where Ford dropped the ball. They should have been making AWD, Gen III's that made 300 hp with a manual transmission that WON'T break. Then again, no one would have bought a $50,000 SHO. I would settle for a transmission that can handle the real world and cams that didn't need to be welded.
