mustang needs a driver mod it should be in the low 14s high 13s..good run for a tahoe

i wouldnt go with the LS1 block. its aluminum. keep the cast iron 5.3. put on some 6 liter escalade heads to lower the compression and get an adjustable boost control to raise the boost! You can get that truck into the 12 all day

just got the meth injection on. after some tuning i hope to get back to the track again.

LOL awesome video ! yah i think throw an LS1 in there with boost you will be set.. i have a 2000TA and an 03 tahoe ... so this is giving me some ideas lol

well there is more to come out of the tahoe. i'm still working on the tune. its running 10 psi, about 10-11* of timming, and 10.9 afr. currently i have it up to 17* timming and working on the fueling. i'm shooting for at least mid 13's. then i have a 383ls1 stroker motor in the works. going to up grade to a st76 and some meth. so ithink i will continue to repeat the beating of mustangs and the like.

stock pi mustangs run low 14s so ya the driver sucked. thats a time i would expect out of my '96.

Its a good place to start but i would look into the after market to get that Mustang moven
