v8's over heat fast,v6 has better endurace,giving more rpm and curve hp-tq,a 1200hp v6 supra can be a daily driver,but a 1200hp v8 mustang can't.so as an example a 1200hp supra vs a 1200hp mustang,the mustang might jump ahead on start but in a long straight away race the 1200hp v6 supra will outrun and outlast the v8.

It,s more coming up, the pull in the bench was only the begining. On 1,8 ba r of boost it gave 1053hp@8600rpm and 1080Nm@6100 rpm. On the street th e car is running with 1,75 bar of boost and we have made some testings on the street with 2,4 bar of boost. And that, boys and girls, is HORRIBLE, t hats for sure. yes a v8 engine is a better engine if u want 2000hp .. there is nothing lik e volume ..but then we are talking about a "big" engine with 5 00cui..and a blower.. try fitting that in a nissan.. and still the nissa n runs u out.. try a 4wd car with 1000hp and 1500kg then u know... best regards kristian

maybe its only a 2.6l but a v8 5.0 will produce more hp and we wont even talk about torque still rb are great engine but v8 are better if ur t alking about numbers ive seen plenty of 1500 1800 2000 2200+ hp v8 ive never really seen a inline 6 go over 1500hp still alote of power but v8 can do more

Nice power.But can the tranny take it? It would be highly unwise to rev up and drop the clutch.1000hp R33 have been around for years.

i know the owner of this car.. its a r32 engine bottom. with a lots of cand y on .. it gave 850hp on pump fuel @1.6kg boost. and 1050.3 on vp fuel. @ 1.8kg boost..the torq was 1027nm if i remember right..and no the headgask et dident blow. 1k HP on a 2.6 liter engine isn't new. There's a company that did that on a 4 cylinder chevy engine.

jesus, watch the upper rad hose at the very end of the second run. that thi ng starts to swell up super bad. crazy. very very nice. dont care what kinda of power it makes, it'd be plenty for me i can say that, lol.
