the original motor had rod knock because of a sieze rod bearing. i ended up buying a used motor out of a wrecked supra in oregon with 112k on it. i changed the headgasket using the head of my old motor because it had some work already done to it and it runs like a champ.
the sound makes me miss my old mk3....until i remember how much gas costs :) then my Aero wins me over :)
