lol what did yall expect a civic running 28psi on even a small turbo would beat a 5.0 @ 10psi a stock 5.0 can handle about 16-18psi without any heads cams or bolts to hold it all together civic putting down prolly 360hp or so @28psi 5.0 puts between 210-255hp depending on stuff...race a big single turbo supra and see what happens ~~

Well they really are right. It takes a whole lot of motor work to handle 28 psi. A stock 5.0 block can easily handle 10psi (not too much more though; my friend knows from experience!) without compromising the integrity of the motor. That Stang has no more than 5 grand in it. As opposed to the civic in which has a whole lot more invested. Granted, it is a quick civic. Just proves that with enough money, anything can be made fast.

id rather spend the money on the stang....lot less internal engine work to push 10psi...as compared to a little b16 or b18 motor pushing 28....way to much money to dump.
