The new SS\TC for 2008-09 are not to be taken lightly......Tuned on the Nurburgring in Germany... Chevy has just run the SS cobalt on the Ring again but this time with their (soon to be released stg 1 kit) for the new turbo balt.... Stg 1 takes crank hp and tq from 260\260 to 290\330... The old time on the ring was 8:22... Now with the extra juice is has run 7:52, still on stock continental contact sport 2 tires.... I'm waiting for release of the video so it can be posted...... think about that for a minute and check the current track records on the "ring".... 7:52 in a cobalt....!!!! incredible..... Nearlt as fast as the 2009 556 hp supercharged CTS-v....... and not to far behind the C6 Z06... just 50 more hp and ther Z06 record would be in trouble...

You'd need a stage 2 w\toys srt4 neon to keep pace with a simple retuned SS\TC, a Cobb stg 2 STi to keep up.....

Ya ba6fefa3 is clueless about the new turbo SS.... It kicks sand in the faces of the STI and Evos on a Autocross track, out runs porsche caymen S and boxster S and 09' BMW M3 V8 on a autocross track, and this is with the car stock... Put springs on it and retune the suspension..... Plus the new turbo with a re-tune runs 12.9 in the 1\4 at 107 mph, just a tune and CAI. www.turbosystem.com
