600s are quick stock and im sure that bike had basic mods. 600s run low 11s high 10s in the 1/4 mile stock. Now, a 600 katana isnt something to b rag about, but this bike he raced wasnt a katana. that car is running l ow 11s or in the 10s i would imagine

yeah...so the extra 400 cc's the 1,000s have doesn't make any difference, r ight? STFU.... if 600's were as fast as the 1000's what would be the point of the 1000?

A stock 600 SuperSports can run 10s or under with a pro rider. They had a g uy do it in my UK mag about 6 months back on a stock R6. I think he just w ent one tooth down on the front sprocket....other than that....stock.

dead stock or lightly modified modern 600's, even with a good rider are onl y good for a 11.5 at best in the 1/4 mile. Of course, you'll read in the mags that they can run 10.5's, but they are rather optimistic #'s. MOST r iders that aren't at the track often would be happy with a high to low 12. GRanted, not many modified cars running low 12's.

Yeah, the rider on the bike was terrible, short shift every gear and a horr ible start. Find an experianced rider and that car was toast.
