Bad driver in the m3, a totally stock e46 m3 will run 12.4-12.5 on drag radials, vs an s10 which needs a really mean vortec 6 or a solid v8 to turn a 12.6. The other thing, m3s turn and s10s dont. I own both, so you cant say i'm biased here.
