Nah, that was an easy 70mph faster than the r1. Your telling me he was only at the end of 3rd or 4th then? Busa's aint nothing till over 160 or so, and by then who really cares?

my bud has a 2005 Gsxr 1000 and my stock busa starts walking away at120 mph. The busa is designed to cut through the wind so it is not all about horsepower on top end!!!

Did somebody mention Veyron? Or is it VeryWrong?? The Veyron only can achie ve those claimed figures when specially configured and when all it's turbo s are firing. In normal driving conditions the turbo lag is very poor (a n ecessary evil to achieve 1001bhp) meaning that in a real world situation t he R1 and Busa would leave the Veyron for dust. As an overtaking tool or t rack car the 2.5 tonnes Veyron is flawed, it is purely a numbers exercise for Bugatti/VW

There is no way that the busa is stock and that is probly an older R1 modd le . The cbr1000rr 154hp gsxr1000 156hp r1 159hp zx10r 162hp are putting d own hp really close to that as the busa. Those #s are at the wheel too. No t to mention that the busa is much heavier. Some of the modded zx10rs are close to the 200hp mark. I don't think that the busas are all that any mor e unless they are heavily modded.
