come on guys . the power to weight ratio is what determines how fast your car will go . not horspower. the honda is really light . pretty much a go cart . and a stock gt 4.6 weights in at about 3400 lbs give or take . now kudos to the civic for hangin with the stang . but the great equalizer is when you apply the same bolt ons to both cars and then see what they do . everyone has there favorite. good runs for both

I'm just talking about Stock B-series vtec or H series. D-stock will get slaughtered by anything. But the Eg on the vid was a B-series.

why does everybody compare a civic b or h series turbo etc... etc with a stock mustang?
It doesn't make sense to race/compare a heavily modded car to a stock car. stock for stock a civic d will never EVER be faster than a stang gt.

A stock B18C5 or H22A will kill a mustang GT' Sohc 4.6, The stock gearing is crap, and the power band isn't consistent when you shift gears, it drops to far, Look at a stock mustang GT' Dyno Vid. One is on here somewhere, it only put like 219 to the wheels haha.

ok so what ur saying is a heavily modded civic with turbos and what not will beat a stock 260 horse mustang sorry man im not impressed
