I dont see why people gave the guy talking about rotarys having mechanical problems a bad rating. He spoke the truth... particulary about the apex seals. If I had a rotary (which I love) I would definately upgrade to 3mm apex seals before doing anything especially if it involved more boost or anything bigger than a slightly large street port. I love the concept of simplicity that rotarys have with very few moving parts to break. I just think they need some more R&D like motors with pistons have had over many years to become practical.

Thats the common consensous on rotaries, but this sounded like no other rotary I've heard - probably because it hasn't actually been set up yet. It should sound smooth, that just sounds all over the place. And i like it!

Rotarys can only dream, because they break down several times more than V8s of any brand. and even if they manage to pull away from a V8, POP goes the seals!
