ok quit bringing up prostock.they use 800 cubic inches to get as fast as they do.the prostock engine alone cost over 80k.this is a 2 liter for god sake if its a 20b.by far a rotary makes more power per size than a piston engine.im sure with a 26b fully built this thing could run 6s.its already been done with a 20b turbo.

predator22, you couldn't be more mistaken. 2 rotors, 657cc of max intake volume per rotor, 1.31L all together (13B). Add another rotor, 1.97L (20B). If a 1.3L rotary was equivelant to a 3.0L piston engine, they'd have horrible equivelant hp/L ratios, but infact it's just the opposite. N/A 13B's had 164hp...from 1.3L, tha'ts really good (126hp/L). With 1.6L Toyota made 140hp with the 4A-GE (88hp/L).

it sounds like a non turbo 3 rotor. im sure he is running some sort of race gas... u cant do 11,000 rpms on pump gas? heh

The infamous 787b 24hr lemans car has an n/a 4 rotor 2.6
they kept the revs down to 9,000 rpms so it could do the whole 24 hrs without probs. at 9k the 4 rotor made 700 hp.
they said that it would easily make 900- 1000 hp at 11,000 +- rpms. i dunno about you guys.. the fact is... that formula one engines are 3.5 v8's doing 19- 20k rpms and they produce 900 hp or so. those F1 engines are the most advanced motors in the world. but yet the smaller early mid 90's displacement 4 rotor was just as capable as modern F1 engines. dont forget that pistons motors have like 99% more research and design than rotaries. so yes rotaries should be considered them most efficient motor in history. imagin if rotaries had as much R&D as piston motors..... and big displacement like pistons? Ahaha it would be over for pistons. WE need more rotary powered cars besides rx7's...

Are you retarded? 2-3 tenths? Having a 4 rotor would close to double his power output. Power from rotarys doesn't work the way you think. You think that if a 2 rotor makes 400 hp a 3 rotor with an identical set up will have 600 and a 4 rotor will have 800. Wrong. More rotors mean a more balanced engine and higher rpms.

Prostock = 800 Cubic Inches
20b Rotary = 120 Cubic Inches

Your math skill are retarded. Do you realize how much power it takes to run 1/100th of a second faster when your running 7's? Grow a brain, the 4th rotor may get him 2-3 tenths which is still very far off the pro 5.0 guys who build their cars in their backyard and go rip 6's at the track.
