if ya'll want to get technical about who built what. if you did any reserch which it sounds like some of you have you would know that yes isuzu built the dura-smash but....when gm wanted a new diesel they originaly went to caterpillar but they said no because cat is srictly industrial...however... they gave gm the specifications on a diesel motor that matched what gm wanted then came the dura-smash the only thing gm has going for them is the allison transmission and that my 2 cents and if ya dont like it deal with it any way

Blah Blah Blah. All 3 Trucks are great trucks and people are too feeble minded to be able to like one more than one thing and some others are just plain biased. If I could afford it, I'd have all 3 in my driveway. For the record the 6.4 Powestroke is NOT twin turbo but a dual turbo... There is a difference.
You'd rather be Cummin' than Strokin'? Well first you need to be as Hard as a Rock...

haha you can't get Co2 poisoning, you can get CO poisoning. Diesels Emit tons of Co2 but hardly any Co. Co2 is carbon dioxide, co is carbon monoxide, i have never heard of anyone getting co2 poisoning. As for Cummins, ford does own part of cummins, not a controlling part but they do own part of them. They have cummins motors in their big F650's and 550's as well as CAT C7's, the ACERT motor. The new powerstroke is a HPCR motor too with twin VGT turbos. Ford is not going to renew their contract with Navistar (company that owns International). In 2010 Ford will start building their own diesel engines for their pickups, if you think they can't do it look in europe, ford builds tons of 'em there. As for the 6.0, its junk. 7.3 rocks, 6.4 still hasn't proved itself. if you think Ford sucks look at the numbers, ford sells more of its pickups than chevy and dodge put together. but if you put GMC and Chevy together they beat Ford, but they are diffrent brands so for some reason they dont do that in the numbers. I would rather have a Cummins or INX motor in my truck than a freakin Isuzu anyway.

acutaully if u want to get technical this truck is causing global dimming. its were fine particulates are drawn into water droplets in clouds and block out the suns rays. so basically global cooling. co2 is a green house gas. its not a major emmission of a diesel. thats why u can sit in a shop with a diesel running and not get co2 poisoning

some high performance diesels such as the Detroit Diesel 16V92TA in the land speed record diesel freightliner with a twin supercharger and quad turbo setup run up to 240 psi turning out an estimated 4500 hp.
