Its a beautiful car :)

I want a 3800 stall but I am sick of pulling the mill/trans every few months. (Its been a real learning curve :).) I am running 93 octane now on my open chamber D3s with Hyper flat tops. Has 10.5-1 compression. Timing is at 36 total with a recurved duraspark. It seems to like that. The rest of my videos are pretty crappy but Ill see what I can find. Looking forward to spending more time checking out streetfire! Phil

thats not slow like you said about a 2500 stall converter 3:73 or 4:11 gear and hold on it will look for a place to go one other thing ford engines thrive at 38 degree full advance timing meaning at around 2500 rpm you want it to be reading 36-38 degrees on the timing marker it is a old rule of thumb on the fe ford engines draw back is you will probably have to run 93 octane gas or use a addative to prevent spark knock but it will come to life no doubt good luck and hope to see more video's soon

Thanks guys! Yup last year for the Fairlane and 70.5 falcon was like this car too. Car is a 460 .030 over with 73 ported heads, exhaust, mild hydraulic cam, C6, 9" 3.00 gear. Its a rust free texas 302 car. Originally green. The car this day was the 1st time ever at the track. It has lots of wheel spin. I think with sticky tires, less air in em and less air in the airshocks I could have done better. Lots of $ in it and it was to be more show than go but Ive been hanging with a bunch of guys with fast cars. (like 10-11sec cars). Ill probably add a 31 spline det. locker 3:50 (or steeper) gears and a higher stall converter. If I ever dip in the 12s I'll be done. As for the import crowd I'm pretty lucky to find a good group in Toledo that likes muscle cars and actually know how to make their cars fast (not ricey). 11 sec or better SRTs and Civics are common. Luckily most of the domestic guys are just as open minded. All in all its a great scene here. (thats not to say there isn't quite a rivalry) Ill try to put up some pix. I took a lot of this car. P.S. AMCs are some amazing cars. Many fast machines from that make.

Nice old american muscle car !!!! Where do you get that 13.861 is slow ? Back in the muscle car era if you had a car that ran under 15's you had a fast car. They are muscle cars not all out race cars. Nowdays every car seems fast because of computers and turbos.
Back in the cool old days you either had a fast muscle car or just had a slow car. Remember back then a man really had to have cash money to make his car faster because not many people had credit cards !!! The after market part supply was also pretty small,not like todays. Again people using credit cards has made
the after market huge.
You have a great car that has value and runs well. I Don't see the Imports ever having much value just kids messing up their lifes paying credit card dept to make a Civic faster. Nothing good or fun about that.
