1/8th mile....

if you watch first set of numbers on the board is 5.0 @80mph-thats the 1/8th mile time.the other truck ran a 10sec 1/8 and got smoked.

its not 1/8 mile. its 1/4 mile . like imelmo said: It's not. Occasionally diesels will "smoke" the lights. The black smoke from the exhaust messes with the timing lights; mph remains correct though. The 60ft. on that slip wil read something completely off the wall. I did it a few times myself before I got stacks. They're fun time-slips to show your friends though. :D
