C&D should really get some people that know what they are talking about. First off we all know the car has a solid rear and secondly the engine sure is hell isn't a 302. It's not a 97-98 cobra engine either, it’s basically an all aluminum N/A version of the 03/04 cobra DOHC 4.6 same heads and everything.

Actually the motor in the mach 1 is the same motor out of the 97 - 98 cobra's its a 4 valve 4.6 with 305hp, i know i have a book that has all the mustang info you could ever want lol. And the lincoln LS mustang is the new one. The body is based off the lincoln LS. and actually stock for stock the mach's were just as fast as the formula's.

Like the above comments said, Machs dont have a 95 cobra engine. Its the same engine as the 99 and 01s only with an aluminum block instead of iron. Also solid axle, not IRS. Also, the car does not sit high and bob on the springs like they say. Mach's actually ride about half an inch lower than GT's and Cobras due also to the Tokico gas shocks and struts. I dont watch tv shows about cars. They always get a lot of facts wrong.

Damn, what a bunch or retards. That’s pretty bad they screwed up both the rear suspension on the car (totally different) and where the engine came from. MAYBE the test car was a pre-production one with IRS and the IRS was dropped for the production ones? If that car they tested actually had a live axle instead of IRS, the euro guys just pwned themselfs thinking how much better the "IRS" is, ahaha.
