man this guys f'n used(and definatly beat to fck being that it is an old doughnut cruzr)caprice just beats everything, I bet my "ricer"embaresses it everytime in any gear at any speed what does that brick top out at anyways? 130mph? I know for a fact no police cars go over 140(when my cars still pullin strong)unless its a camaro or a lambo even the old 5.0s barely hit 140s.Oh and a modded deisel will easily run 14s far better than anything ur cars gonna put out with intake and exhaust even if it was healthy(which it cant be u said urself its a police car if u know anything about how they pound I mean drive those things I doubt it even makes the power it used to) alot of those motors power is sucked away by that extra large altenator, not to mention your car is reinforced beyond an impala ss or civilian caprice therfore heaveir and slower so if an Impala SS cant hit low 14s with basic bolt ons how is it u can even beat your average B swapped civic when most of those run 14s no prob with stock trim motors(again mine ran 14.20s when it had a STOCK 1.6!)ur one of those ppl that need to hit the track, find out what ur car is ACTUALLY capable of and THAN maybe you'll be entitled to talk smack to a tiburon(becuz they actually are slower than u most ppl cant get them out of 16s!)

RaycharlesWS6, if you are refering to my 9C1 when you speak of F-bodys, then you are sadly mistaken, because my car would be what most would call a B-body. It made 330 ft lbs in 96.....and it does fine for a $2300 car, haha, I run through bimmers, camaros, TRANS AMS, FIREBIRDS, modified diesels, and ricers ofcourse....and I hope your shiney Trans Am get better gas mileage than a 12 year old, 148,000 mile, 3900lb cop car! haha

of course it makes more tq its a bigger motor it takes absolutly no engineering to make more tq with a bigger motor but tq is only the power made in a single four stroke cycle so basically thats ur potential power and is ONLY important off the line and when laving a corner for a few split seconds Hp is your torque multiplied by RPMs also taking volumetric effieciancy into consideration, once yur already moving ,speaking purely in basics of course and leaving out other factors such as gearing etc, hp is more important. and being that hp is the actual rating that shows how much power your motor was able to make after revving up when a 120ft-lb motor makes 200hp and a 290ft-lb motor only makes 170hp it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out the latter is an inefficient p.os. considering it makes less true power even though it had more potential power or torque to begin with.

cool video man, good race! GTO is heavy so it'll do better against a Prelude or non-turbo Supra?

whats with all the Civic bashing, when the Civic won??? You don't see us honda owners griping about losing?! Hell we're used to losing to V8s, so when a 4 cylinder wins against a V8, at least give us that respect, not asking for much there. We mainly lose, so when we win, give the hate some slack!!!
