they tell you to put it in the cup holder but i see your point, i wasnt so sure it could work based on the angle it was at, but they should tell you to have it as level as possible

You need a better mounting point for the Iphone. Thats why the numbers are off you have it just sitting in a cup holder. Put the Gtech in the cup holder and see what it reads then.
