ok to all the morons who say a hennesy is faster.this is a streetlegal car with luxury and everyday drivability.on top of that turn up the boost and watch as it blows past everything else.what happened to the old stupied comment no replacement for displacement

Veyron is made to last. 10% of the price yes it will get you a fast car but this is fast luxury that is made to last. There is so much engineering only in the gearbox alone, that one project manager got fired because of it and they designed it for years..The gearbox made to take about 10-15 years of abuse, so your tuned cheap car will break every 5.000 km with 1000hp. You get what you pay for and VW in NOT making any money on it so think again why the parts for this car are so expensive.

to make the first argument fun.... how about you buy a Veyron, and with the same amount of money it takes to buy a stock Veyron, buy a Supra/Mustang/Camaro/Vette and put the remaining money into it. Then you can compare the cars.

I have been to that hill climb. Its near cheltnam in england. The veyron is an awesome car. Unfortunately it was not there when i was.
