you are an idiot, ford FIRST put the N/A 2.3 in a Mustang in 1974 (Mustang II) but that same engine carried on nearly unchanged until 1993. From 1979-1982 there was a turbocharged version available in mustangs with a 2bbl carb and 83-84 featured an EFI non-intercooled version of the same motor. thunderbird turbo coupes from 83-86 had the same engine. in 1984 the SVO mustang came out with an intercooled version that in its best stock form made 205hp (1985.5) and a similar 190hp version was found in 87-88 turbo coupes

It looks like you misread what he typed. There was a "."(period) between 1989 and SVO. He was saying he had a 1986 and a 1989 Lx I4(88HP) m ustangs.

I am sure that your 89 svo is real rare as THERE IS NO SUCH THING. The SVO s were purpose built 1984-86. Ford put these together at a special shop. I have 1 of 17 svo's shipped to California in 1985. It has set scca roadrac e records and wins. It also auto crossed (scca nor cal) well with a 4th ov erall regionally, it then went roadracing. It is nowhere near an 11sec car . I ran 22psi on v/p unleaded as raced. 18psi on pump gas. My wife smacked a deer and it sits on my back pad. So sad.
