From the lack of thread on the run of the tire, i'm guessing they are pirelli supercorsa pro's.
NOT a good choice in the cold, as 604793 has mentioned, tire warmers would have helped.

He wasn't really to throttle-happy either it's just that modern I4s make tons of torque and combine that with fuel injection and the mixture adjustment it does when you first start it (even when warm it'll run higher idle for a couple of seconds), it makes for choppy and abrupt throttle response sometimes.

I think he handled it reasonably well, he backed off pretty propperly.

Shit happens, he took it well too i think just raising his arms saying oh well i'm sorry.

same here, this clip will stay with all our fellow riders forever, just think sometimes it CAN go wrong .
