It boosts low because it still has to spool a turbo. It has nothing to do with pulley size or weight. The supercharged boost hits instantly, and the turbo boost hits a moment after. I actually really like that and might consider that for my car.

Cobalts do boost slowly cause the pulley weighs about 13tons. Alot of aftermarket pulleys are made of aluminum which cuts the boost time in half. Freaking GM probably saved 5cents per pulley by using steel instead of alum...

actually yea, poobank, I noticed that too while driving my friends stock ss/sc. My 3800 with the M90 blower definitely doesn't wait at all. Even when I had the stock pulley it pretty much whipped the needle at the touch of the gas

need a little bit more tuning and a larger pulley for the supercharger, 2.7 is too small for the setup
