The Z28 IS a 12 second car. I love how people don't know what they're talking about when they say that my car doesn't run 12's... I have my time slip and a video of me runnin the 12.85

*not hating* i dont understand why you would not run the intake up away from the turbo manifold i understand that there may be some power lost due to bends in the pipe but that would easly be made up with cooler air. i would think you would have problems with running lean.
