lose that wing and that hood breather they look like crap, build a fast small block 383.. that motor you got runs like a 305 running on 4 cylinders. And those years are called Malibu's not chevelles. They are a good platform just do some work.

lose the wing, nothing through the hood unless it just wont fit (and i mean as a last resort only), lower the car, and lose about 20 degrees duration on that cam, or get some good flowing heads (the cam sounds WAY too big!!). But don't get rid of tht car, all of the rest of them were raced, and wrecked. I have one, and I wont get rid of it, they are going to be extremely hard to find in a few years.

you dont NEED a posi to do donuts. if you whip the wheel and get the car sideways, both tires should start spinning and you can do donuts (not as good as a posi, but still alright) ive done it with a 3.55 open diff. before.

POSI is cheap. You can get limited slips diffs for that car under $50...which is far less than that scoop was.
