Y dont u shift into 2nd and 3rd ur tachin it out to high ull blow it up, dumb ass. Oh the rear ends suck in the early to mid 80s. I had a 83 Z28, blew the rear end up 5 times and then blew the motor. It was a stock 305 5-speed. I went up to 4th gear doin a brake stand till the tires popped one time.
