Look whether or not you like the style of the SRT-4 you have to give it credit, its a front wheel drive car that keeps up with evo's and sti's stock for stock, and like he said from a roll these things are quick. Dude your car sounds nice, I would like to see how much power you're putting down thou.

I understand if you don't like the styling or maybe in your opinion, lack there of, however to say that the SRT-4 is a trim package is a truly uninformed statement. My point, behind the sarcasim, was that the SRT-4 is much more than just a trim package. I personally grew up driving muscle cars and love them all. I have since owned cars such as the Stealth and the 3000GT for their overall appearance. I have now switched to the Neon SRT-4 because I love the torqe and pickup and 30MPG doesn't hurt either. Underestimate one from a roll and you may be a little embarrased.

absolutely, what would cars be w/o pkgs? the difference here is the COBRA wasn't evolved from a NEON. I wouldn't mind having a car with the specs of a neon srt4 including the 30 mpgs, but I just couldn't get over the seemingly nonexistent hood compartment and the minute appearance.

I agree you should post numbers. Mustangiistroker, You are correct the SRT is a package, a package that when debuted was the fastest production 4 cylynder, new suspension, open exhaust, Turbo, Viper seats and staged Mopar upgrades. I see your a mustang guy so I suppose you think the Cobra is a joke as well, after all it's a package car and a nice one at that. OH and the 07 Acura TL looks, IMHO, like a granny car and costs $30K get real!

All in all it's still POS Chrysler with a life span around 80K.

07 acura tl 6spd has the same 1/4 mile time, another 700lbs of weight, and you can still keep your dignity and won't be embarrassed to have it valet parked...
