Finally i realized what camaros were supposed to be, a boat, they have huge engines like a boat and they feel and drive very similar to a boat... Tha nk you for helping put it all together. I do however respect their straigh t line speed, i just can't stand the steering feel while turning....

r u obtuse, this car was on the tv, they actually made a news announcement too. they made the car to look like a boat so it would have the same aerod ynamics as conventional boats. trust me i''ve seen it drive. and the owner even took it on a freeway just to prove that it is a road/water car. :))

The last time one of these cars hit the water it sunk... One of the major c ar companies already toyed with this idea... except the idea sunk, littera ly.

No matter what anyone thinks, this is real, the body is highly modified so yes, the front is more boatlike because of it. Seriously, could you see a camaro front end accually going through the water without absolutely buryi ng it underwater? The doors are sealed as well as the other openings in th e body that need to be. The suspension is setup to where it pulls the whee ls and tires entirely up into the body, then four plates slide over the wh eelwells to complete the bottom of the boat part. It was on Discovery Chan nel or Car and Driver, totally running and driving on both land and sea. H ere's the site he uses to show it off and perhaps sell them. http://www.wa tercar.com

That is fricken awesome, I want a car like that. Sure beats having to have room for a boat sitting around all the time.

actually yes in fact the front wheels lower out from being tucked under the fenders and it DOES DRIVE its been on the cover of hot rod magazine and o n tv a bunch of times such as car crazy and other tv shows. The guy built it cause he bought one of those amphibious cars from the 50's and its top speed in the water was 5-10 mph so he built this which has a top speed in water of 35. You dont believe me try doing a google search next time befor e u doubt now i did it for u here is the guys website watch the one called drive out for proof. http://www.watercar.com/video.html
