Got the car in 01 from a friend who used it as his daily driver.he got it new and never modded it . motors never been apart.its not all that fast its a . 13.4 1/4 mile 8.6 1/8 mile car just as normal as it gets for a stock ls1 fbody.

How long have you owned the car? Have you taken the engine apart to verify that it's all stock and not milled or ported heads? I'm a LS fan so not trying to tromp on ya but your car does seem pretty darn quick for a stocker. Must be the Amsoil. LOL. I had a 71 Chev 1/2 long box and the engine was pretty worn out but when I put a Torquer manifold and headers w/ 2 1-2" exh, it woke the chickens. Came close to going the Mustang route when the new body came out. Couldn't afford it at the time and when I could....an 06 GTO found me. Darn thing followed me home. Wonder if GM is gonna live long enough to get the new Camaro out though. I hate to see any of the Detroit 3 go down. Keep buying American....even if you like BMW's! LOL

Google search 'freak LS1',,the HP numbers varied and some put down as much as 318rwhp STOCK,my original LS1 in FRC put down 315rwhp stock,a bit more than the 345 flywheel rating with 15percent method,average is around 285-300
