actually to get a even louder sound take off your endtanks and secondary butterflies,behind the butterflys and inside the endtanks you'll see a "horn" behind the bf's,remove all six of them in total,bolt it back together,and enjoy!!!

haha...you are a genius. That's seriously almost the exact same thing I did with my 97 SHO. Except, I still kept my cone up in the engine bay, but I ran a tube from the front grill up the fender and put it right next to the cone. So it still got plenty of cold air, but it had a "short ram" at the same time. AND...it wasn't taking air DIRECTLY from the fender, so if the bottom fender somehow got submerged in water by some freak accident, it wouldn't suck any in. :) Awesome work tho, I admire it!!! ;)

at the time i had the K&N cone filter in the engine bay.... since then i have now moved it and made it from short ram to cold air!!! u can feel the diff. now that im not taking in warm air from the engine bay

awsome engine bay sound clip of my 94 taurus sho with intake.........right around the middle of te clip i do a 0-60 run and u can hear when i slam on the gas the intake take a huge gulp of air and then the secondaries open up and the engine just SCREAM!!!
