now you say 400+hp, what you got for mods on it?

my bro has a 99 5.3 chevy...it does the same thing.
U can sit there with it floored, and it will chill at 2 grand.
Until u ease on the brake&gas then it will shift threw 1&2 and burn'em well over a quarter mile(stock) NO BULL

that's NOT 400 horsepower. i think it's a far stretch to say even 400 hors es at the crank

no, 666694...........that is the tq management in the stock computer that i s makin it do that.

he clearly was bone stock, with maybe an exhau st. listen to the way it sounds when it shifts. makes that fart sound, cle arly stock tuning, no superchips.

and by the sound, you can tell it s got stock manifolds/y pipe with a flowmaster muffler.

he had it t o the floor, doing all he could. but the computer pulls the throttle. the tb blades actually shut partially.

then after a bit, it overrides t he tq management and gives full power.

no matter what your mods are , if you have stock tuning, it will still do the same thing. not as bad, b ut still the same thing.
