You look at the car and see that you could drive it all day long, without it stalling because the timing and cams are so extreme. Yeah an inport inline motor can produce massive hp as well. This just does it so easily, expensive ease. Also Punter is most correct in saying horsepower is not linear. Best comment I've seen all day.

Its a street car. And it would be more efficient if you used a massive single turbo. The fact that it has twins, has no bearing. They are very small turbos. With low boost. If you take an 8 cylinder motor this size and cram it with tons of boost you will get 2000bhp. But how the hell will you drive something that has the proper ignition timing for 2000hp on the street, with nice rims and low profile tires without killing yourself? For example see top fuel funny car: v-8, huge boost, very fast, can not turn corners or be driven on the street. I'm sure the owner would like to be able to whoop most cars on an on ramp as well as on the highway.

power isnt linear. You double the displacement u dont double the power. I'm sure that will be a nice and easy 900bhp, thats whats cool about it. I love gt's, great cars

Hp/l is a hackneyed arguement, sheer hp per pound is all that matters, amd boy this car's got it. 10-140 run and this video is 13 seconds long. Think about that.

I wouldn't talk about american trash when a mustang cobra can produce over 700hp on stock internals after a turbo conversion. Even the import's holy grail, the skyline and supra engines, can only take 550hp on stock internals. oh and guess what... a 2001 mustang cobra with 50k miles costs the same as a rusty old supra from the 80's with 150k miles on it. argueing about what makes more power on modified internals is pointless, I can get a lawn mower to make 300hp/liter if I throw enough money at it.
