But the GTR was designed around the ring, and the driver has ungodly amounts of lap time in the GTR on the ring. This guy takes a new car (Viper ACR) and basically laughs at you and all of the hype surrounding your cars. 7:22 baby. New Record.

like the guys said before.this is a great car but stop the import vs domestic argument because i heard a rumor from a gm employee that the suspension on both the z06 and zr1 were engineered with the help of lotus.gm is not all american so appreciate every car for what went into building it.not for its country of oregion.

Jim Mero must be a hell of a driver.But I am convinced you put Johny O'Connell in the car who does nothing but race corvettes for a living and you will probably see a little better time.I heard the Nissan GT-R V spec is going to be $130,000.Its going to be almost x2 the price of the regular Nisssan.And yes the vette is expensive but it has Ferrari Enzo FXX front brakes and Enzo Front brakes on the rear, plus completely diffferent suspension. Brakes are probably $20,000

Notice at 6:56 mins from the timer in the upper right he puts it into 6th and the tach reading just can't break 5300 RPM's. 6th has to be ridiculously high to bring up average fuel economy. Be sure when you see someone hugging a tree to tie him/her to the trunk right before you burn it.

That LS9 really has good midrange torque off corners. Thought it would pull at least 190 on the back straight though. Still no joke!
