Yeah it is, not as challenging but its still cool to see who has the better top speed, rather than who has a good launch. AWD VS. FWD? plus its a scion

www.scionspeed.com ... the project car is a tc with a stage 3 kit on stock internals pushing 500 whp @ 18 psi... there are also lower stages to fit your budget give it a try and good luck with it....by the way if you can master launching your tc you might be able to touch high 14s with the mods you have... and reflash your ecu if you get the chance it made a pretty big difference on mine...

hey guys... just wanted to give my .02 cents on this... ye STIs are hella fast and so are SRT4 but SRT4s are a neon on steroids..( no i am not hating on either car) BUT I do own a scion tc and every1 tht owns either an SRT STI or sometimes EVO are always talking sh*t calling ppl tht drives TCs ricers and sh*t... all u have to do is drop a turbo on the TC and itll be just as equal as a stock STI and faster then a stock SRT and now this is a fair comparison since its TUrbo vs Turbo u kno... there is no way in heII tht u can compare a 17K non turbo car to either a 18K 2.4L american turbo( SRT) or a 36K 2.5L turbo with 293hp ( STI). I personally enjoy u kno watchin STIs run and wut ruins the REP for ur vehicles is the darn owner because they think they are the sh*t because they have a 36K car... sry if any of u think wut i wrote is offensive but I love my Tc and i thnk itll be the sh*t once i turbo it... havent had the money or time yet since i only had it for 6 months... by the way I only have a CAI and a HKS axleback exhaust on mine... I run 15.7 and i kno i can get better... and I am planning on either a greddy turbo kit or the new threadstone... IDK if you guys have ever heard of it but there is a couple of videos on youtube..

well being an import guy.. american cars suck.. the majority of them.. and nissan is definitely not one on the list.. hyundai is beating them in the market.. I work for toyota.. i know all the ratings.. and some insde info. . ford sucks.. the new tundra will blow any for truck out of the water.. t owing.. reliability.. comfort.. style.. anything..

lol toyota #1 car company that made me laugh. If anything im a domestic guy and i know nissan is running away with the import market.In the truck market obviously american trucks are taking that away.Due that none of the import trucks can pull anything but a 15ft aluminum boat.Funny watching a nissan titan struggle to pull out a 28ft speed boat and a tundra attempting to pull out a 25ft boat and just tevving a not going anywhere.Then you see a f-150 new with the weak ass 5.4 pull out a 32ft boat with a cabin in the hull no problem. Not even revving high.

First of all... lets just get this out of the way, a race from a roll with a fwd (or rwd for that matter) car versus an awd car will always be stacke d against the awd car. Awd helps a lot on launches.. and while subarus do have SOME tranny failures its becuase of an inexperienced driver... you ju st launch awd much differently (think of stepping on a wad of gum on the c lutch). Not to mention the parasitic loss of awd is much greater than any 2wd car. You put $4k in JUST power mods in any car and you'll be beating p erformance cars which cost much more. To that guy who said weight distr ibution only matters if you're drifting... WOW. I see that fast and the fu rious 3.. while not even being out yet.. has created even stupid ricers th an the last two movies. BUT at the end of the day... you're driving a scion... and he's driving an STi... moron.
