Small engines that make huge amounts of power are under far more stress than a larger engine that makes the same amount of power. As said before, there's tons of reasons for an engine to blow. It could have been a factory defect in the engine that wasn't caught at the factory. Stuff like that happens all the time. It's just that when it happens like this that everyone notices, but only the posers and "noobs" are the ones that say all the cars of that make are like that. I ,personally, have seen more "race" hondas on the side of the highway here. I was driving my truck one day when some kid in a boosted civic wanted to race. I told him let's see who's vehicle could hold the top end longer. He didn't want to do it. My n/a or his Turboed.

Archangel01: I agree with you every engine no matter how strong can go for numerous reasons ranging from a crappy tune to too much nitrous. I don't think Z06's are crappy. Heck the new ones are hitting 10's STOCK...that says something about those cars a lone. David Buschur ran 10.0 @ 145 (think that was his mph)on straight 93, no alky, meth or nitrous. That car is daily driven as well full interior.

wow i guess you havn't raced many v-8's then. Every motor in existence can blow up simple as that. So many factors go into a detonation and i have seen Evo motors blow up from to my boost same as any other car. Could have been a simple thing like bad tune, too much nitrous or who knows. It makes me laugh that import people(certain people not all because i know a lot of import owners are nice guys) go around looking for videos just like this so they can start throwing ignorant comments out like Chevy sucks and piece of crap motors. Vette's, Vipers, Cobras will always be able to make more power and be faster because lets be honest there IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACMENT. I mean come n look at the new Lingenfelter its running over 1000rwhp ON PUMP GAS. I dont know 1 Evo on the planet that can run over 600hp without using higher then 93 if one exists please show me.

chevy sucks, evo rule, u see the evo always stayed next to the vette, the v ette was pushing the engine until finally he blew it, a I4 engine with tur bo awd putting in pain a v8 piece of sh!t.mitsu rule.
