Great video Frog. This is Rick from the Alley & your car sounds sweet Spray. I have always felt the Blue/White was the best color you could put on a Viper.

I've seen that blue Viper with the American flag (at 2:03) on the side at a track in south Louisiana. If that is the one I am thinking of, it's the fastest street legal N.A. Viper in the US, and likely the world. IIRC it ran either 9's or 10's. Even if it 'wasnt' that exact car shown, this thing was a beast. I'm not a Viper fan by any means but this thing was absolutely bad effen arse.

Yeah I have the same screen name on the VCA website. I am in the SoCal region... but my dad is in the MidSouth group. He lives up in the Longview/Tyler area. I will look for you on the boards...

Yeah you see the first race the red RT/10 just waxes the civic.. The second run the viper let off waay before the brake lights come on. It wasn't even close..

Well, like I said in the video, the Civic ran 11:40's at the track. However, he was on his "street tune" when we were shooting that particular footage. The scene you are talking about, I took my foot off the gas because I was pulling away so far, but I wanted to stay in the camera view. Then I decided to hit my brakes. So it looked like he was pulling, because I was just rolling with no throttle because I took my foot off the gas. The Civic has a new setup now and is capable of 10's! Fast little car!

That Viper let off well before he hit the breaks. It wasnt even a close race from the beginning.
