i thing the zr1 and viper can hit 7:15 with a better driver

whate veryone has to remember is the GTR is awd. and it has 450 tt horse.. so it's fast, but not quite the same class as zr-1..(zr1 only used an engineer as the driver guys.. it's capable of a few more ticks also with a professional i'd say)..so don't get too cocky, but 2 words for the brits. GO AMERICA. where's jeremy clarkson and his stupid ferrari and porche club cars now?.. how much is the acr.. o yea 100k? how much is a ferrari scuderia...o yea, 150k plus easy. screw him

Beside form the annoying limiter and the constant miss shifting he ran an excellent time for the nurburgring.

Even with missed gears and limiter hitting, the Viper (which wasn't developed or tested on the N-ring) still ran the fastest Nring production lap ever. Faster than two cars in particular; the GTR and ZR1, which conversely were BOTH developed and tested on this exact track.

yes this time was achieved only in 4th lap.

and we need a better driver i bet a better driver could get it in to 7:20 with the same crappy gearing

this viper can do some much with better gear rations they are just not good for the track but the run was good the car looked very stable in the track i gotta give it to the viper freaking sick time even with crappy gearing

The time is confirmed and official, and not even by MOPAR or Chryslers crew.. MOTORTREND made it official. Motortrend had their laser timers and electronic aids out, clocking an official 7:22... But thats beside the point, I don't think it will be long before an ACR breaks into the teens on this track
