thanks 3ba4678e... finally someone has some sense! alot of people under estimate it. i ran against an 08 mustang gt and i hung pretty good. he beat me eventually but i hung for a while. after that i was convinced that the 06 and up si (like mine) is actually worth the money for hp, tq and performance. so all of you that have stupidshit to say about i would suggest that you go and fuckthe muffler on your car!

Furious Performance? LOL! Competition... SRT4, GTi, MS3, SS/SC... yeah none eh. Don't get me wrong the Si is a good car and the LSD is a rare FWD bonus that the others don't have including the turbocharged GTi. But the Si is by no means the fastest of the sport compacts out there today.

there nice looking, comfortable and peppy but it's not like the car is blowing anything out......My friend owns a 07 SI......Catback exhaust, AEM intake....I still pull him in my 3000gt SL by at least 4....buslengths everytime.....regardless of when we start out and they claim the car does 0-60 in 6.5? 14.8 1/4 mile? I just don't see why it's a class by itself ....its a wannabe sports car plain and simple

I dont care what any of you say. If you havent driven this car or sat in it, dont judge it. That car scoots and its BIG on the inside. With the short gear ratios and high revs it goes. Very fun car, my brother made the right decision getting one. And navigation is sick as well.

the srt-4 makes its 230hp stock too... and costs 10 grand less than an s2000. Dont get me wrong s2000s rock, but ur comparing a 4 door domestic to a 2 seater roadster with a huge price gap. Not to mention the srt is underrated and makes 230hp at the wheels...

Hmmm. I own an 07 Si Sedan. I am not a street racer, nor do I condone it, but I have been know to "juice it" if the conditions are safe enough.

I think you meant the Fovus SVT and I assure you, it is no competition stock for stock. I have had several jump me on I-85 and the times that I pulled on them, they petered out rather quickly. The Neon you are talking about is an SRT-4 (Don't call it a Neon, the SRT-4 crowd gets bent out of shape when you do that. There is not a Neon badge anywhere on the car.) It is very impressive, but again it has a bigger motor and is turbo charged. They are not in the same class. The Honda motors make more power N/A than most other cars. I believe you meant the MazdaSpeed 3 and it is faster. It is also cheaper in fit and finish and over all, it is just fugly. Props to it for being faster though, however, V8killer1 has an excellent point. Turbo the Si and it is pretty much over.

I think the guy meant that overall, the Si is in a class by itself. It is a good blend of sensability, sporty good looks, reliability and performance. It is by far not the best in any of them, but for the money, you cannot go wrong.

yeah with a supercharger, a neon???? you mean srt-4? thats a 2.4turbo with 230 hp! turbo the civic Si and your lookin at about almost 300hp and w/ dual exaust! a focus???? are you kidding me! an srt-4 compared to a 2.2L honda S2000 well there is no comparisin! first off the srt-4 has a turbo and a bigger engine and only has 230hp a S2000 stock has 240hp!!! so what now!

yeah and breaks down alot! did you forget that! my friend had one and test drove an Si coupe and traded it in because it was way better!
