i live near commerce dragstrip in Georgia there is a guy from south carolina that has a mustang he drives down that runs in the mid 9's for the 5.0 show he always gets kicked out after the second or third pass because of cage specs he always says well it drove down here fine without all the rules and regulations it has more so become about law suits than safety bummer i have seen alot of super bad cars that don't pass tech

I don't know when for sure the track closed that was what I was told. But the track generally closes after first snow fall....it snowed later that day
Lapeer is not a NHRA track so there rules don't apply it has always been track discretion. Lapeer used to be more lax now there super strict

134 trap my ass. Where's the timeslip showing that trap? Why does it say 100 octane when it was 104 octane? You don't need a roll cage if you're slower than 135 and 11.49. NHRA rules. And BTW, Lapeer's last weekend is this weekend, not last weekend.
