this video was stupid and pointless..depending on the size of the turbo the eclipse had if it was upgraded then hes gonna have boost lag which means in a short stretch like that is stupid for an eclipse which if its close to stock than its rather slow pick your poison ...but going against an all motor camaro you gonna lost either way you slice it ...the race was over before it started

how the heck would an eclipse weigh barely more than a lotus elise? according to automotive.com a 99 eclipse spyder gst weighs 1385kg, which comes out to be right about 3050lbs.
also, an 02 3.8 camaro, according to automotive.com, weighs 1507kg, which comes out to be a little over 3300lbs.

I hate to bring up the power to weight arguement (because it always seems like ricer math, and I drive a car that weighs 3800 lbs), but an eclipse weighs what, like 2000 lbs? With equal power, traction wont be that big a difference.

Honestly, those guys dont know how to drive, let alone launch a car. There is no way that a GST would get beat by a fat cow Camaro, unless it was a stock automatic gst.
