I think it's more of Chrysler's attitude, to somehow pin it back on their customers. Look at the GM belt, the highest part is closest to the buckle, not outward like some idiot at Chrysler designed it. Still very safe and very easy to open. That's not a legit excuse.

LOL...the REAL reason dodge scrapped the ball test was because they realized that the majority of the people that usually buy their vehicles werent smart enough to open the seatbelts that passed it,And the minority of the people that could open them didnt wear them anyway! LOL
