really funny isn't it? some of our customers thought it was difficult to release their seatbelts at times SO YES "LET'S JUST KILL OUR CUSTOMERS INSTEAD". Good thinking Chrysler! I'm sorry but I can't stand Chrysler apologetics, there's no excuse for this shit. I've never owned any vehicle, even when I used to own Chryslers and had Gen2, that I had a problem getting out of. I think it's more of Chrysler's attitude, to somehow pin it back on their customers. Look at the GM belt, the highest part is closest to the buckle, not outward like some idiot at Chrysler designed it. Still very safe and very easy to open. That's not a legit excuse.

LOL...the REAL reason dodge scrapped the ball test was because they realized that the majority of the people that usually buy their vehicles werent smart enough to open the seatbelts that passed it,And the minority of the people that could open them didnt wear them anyway! LOL

UNSAFE CHRYSLER SEATBELTS IN OVER 14 MILLION 1993-2003 CHRYSLER DODGE PLYMOUTH JEEP vehicles including Dodge Viper Intrepid Chrysler 300M Jeep Grand Cherokee ABC News Story. This Chrysler safety belt buckle has a history of coming open during auto crashes. At least 26 deaths and 42 serious injuries have been linked to Gen 3 seat belt failures. Figures may be much higher however because people may not look for evidence of accidental release. Visit dontbuydodgechryslervehicles.com
