You can not use the 1/4 mile calculations for top speed runs. The closer you get to the top speed, the less the weight matters. Only the aerodynamics, and rolling resistance, will stop the car from accelerating. The Landcruiser did not run away from the C6 ZO6 because it is very heavy, of course. I am willing to bet that the ZO6 would have the highest top speed though, so the ZO6 would have caught up eventually. This Landcruiser has what looks like a Greddy T88 turbo, which can make more than enough power to walk a ZO6 like that, not problem. Plus there are more vids of this Landcruiser on Streetfire tearing up other fast cars.

Well, there are no signs of an acctual race in this video....no signals at all.......I agree with Yar....no way that even a 700 Hp Land cruiser could beat Z06 like that.......this was no race...call me whatever you'd like...but that's how it is....

Well, this race is fake, here's the proof:

C6 Z06 with Long Tube Headers makes about 467hp at the wheels (According to Lingenfelter Performance). It weighs 3132 lbs and has a drag coefficient of .34 (according to Motor Trend).

Now, the turbo Land Cruiser, as you guys have said, makes 650-700hp at the wheels, weighs 6250 lbs-5200 lbs (According to the manufacturers website, but I put 5200 in there because of a supposed weight reduction.) and has a drag coefficient of about .35 (nearly the same).

Now according to just about any quarter mile calculator (such as this one http://www.teamenvy.com/battlecalc.htm). The Z06 slaughters the Landcruiser. In fact, to win the landcruiser would need well over 800 RWHP.

So, as I said, either this is staged, that isn't a Z06, or the Corvette just plain wasn't racing.
