FWIW, I owned the silver Viper GTS in my profile at the same time as I owned the Formula in this video. We were in town for a Viper race, which was how I actually met the guy I was racing with the supercharged viper.

I was throwing in the comment I used to always hear as a Viper owner, about my Viper "sounding like a UPS truck".

Who said "reliable"? Not me. Just you reading more into what's actually said. Sorry that I stated the facts and backed it up with a video and a hundred + witnesses.
Then again, that particular weekend it was just as reliable and FASTER than a car that cost 20 TIMES AS MUCH! And I actually drove my car 120 miles each way to the track that weekend.

But let's play your way: Same used car and a CUSTOM BUILT TURBO KIT for $6000 by practically any LSx shop. So then it would be a $13k car beating a $225k car. Happy?

My Buick was a $30k turbo V6 powered car. It would have ran circles around the same viper. And it was EXTREMELY dependable. So what.

Point is, it was a STREET RACE. Neither car blew up, or screwed up. The viper lost. Period.
