I remember seeing one (looked just like that one {in the dark) run a 9.6 something a few years ago.Anyone who thinks those Limas aren't good engines needs to look a little closer. I never dynoed mine, but it was enough hp/tq for a 3200 pound car to run 13.9s @ 100 (no big deal) with an automatic and lasted almost 200,000 miles with three different turbos and three different trannies. The internals were bone stock forever. Not bad for an ancient 2.3.Blue skies, baby! Blue skies. KudosIf wheelies won races... Well, GREAT SHOW, anyway!

2.3 has major aftermarket parts aval too. 2.3 is the midget stock motor for circle track cars too. nice ride and no rice in site!!! (well maybe 25 cars behind ha)

We just had my 2.3 Turbo on the dyno last night and it made 300RWHP on stock injectors, 22psi, lots of alky and a 35 shot of Juice. It is running way rich! We will short that out and go for 350rwhp.

the ford "lima" 2.3 is rock solid for boost. not a lot of people know about the capability of that motor
